Requirements for Joining - Please Read Carefully 

• Must be at least 18 years old. (Exceptions may be made for those with sufficient graphic skills on a case-by-case basis.  No exceptions will be made for anyone under 16.)
• Must be in TAW for at least 4 weeks and a minimum rank of PFC. (Non-TAW members will have to contact GFX staff directly via email and receive approvals from GFX & Support Command)
• Have or obtain the Security Awareness Badge. If you have questions about this badge, contact SuperTreky or someone in the Information Security office.
• Be proficient at graphic design and/or product design. Potential applicants will be required to display their abilities before being considered.
• Be able to complete things on time at any given moment. Normal completion time requirements for graphics is 10 days, but can be subject to change if it is an official deadline requirement.
• Be able to improvise and expand into other areas if needed.
• Be able to work well as part of a team.
• Have the right mindset to work with other members in a working environment.
• Must have sufficient skill and knowledge of TAW's Code of Ethics and policies.
• Have access to a copy of Photoshop.  (We use PhotoShop by default, so we cannot provide assistance with other applications.  We do not provide licenses for any software.)

Only apply if you have the time to dedicate yourself to TAW's Graphics team!

Once you have applied to become a Graphics member there will be a series of steps that must be taken before you are accepted fully into the division.

1. Applicant sends an email to AbnormalSkillz@taw.net and Marine@taw.net requesting to join Graphics. (Or find us in TS.)
2. Applicant's request is evaluated by GFX staff.
3. Applicant will be contacted for a meeting with GFX staff. (This would also be a good time to ask any questions you have about GFX.)
4. Applicant will be informed of the result of the application and will be told if they are accepted or denied. They will also be asked if they still wish to join to confirm the transfer.
5. The applicant will be handed some assignments to test his or her skill in certain areas of graphic design. These assignments must be handed in before the transfer is ordered.
6. The applicant's chain of command will be informed of the transfer request. 
7. Once the transfer is official, you will be given access to all the documents necessary to do your job. You will still be under probation for 30 days before becoming a full member of GFX.
8. During your 30 day probation if you do not meet GFX standards you will be given the option to transfer to a different Division or be discharged from TAW.
