The Fall 2020 TAW@WAR is about to begin! Be ready to dominate 24 October (EU @ 20:00 CEST) (NA @ 8:00pm CST). This year we are fortunate enough to have two simultaneous TAW@WAR’s - 1 EU & 1 NA. That's right… you officially have no excuse to miss this event!

What is TAW@WAR? A TAW-Wide Tournament for members to participate and determine who is a gaming champion amongst all participating members! To insure no one has an advantage, the battlefield will be wiped clean as a non-TAW game will be selected; specifically a game that is F2P and PvP based. Along with bragging rights, the winner(s) also receive the coveted TAW-Wide Tournament Medal. This medal is exclusive as it is only awarded to two people or teams per YEAR. The Commander in Chief of TAW will present the medal to you directly, accompanied with the 5-star line shared with all other CIC awarded medals.

This fall, the selected game is…brawlhalla!  Brawlhalla: History's greatest warriors brawl to prove who's the best in an epic test of strength and skill. These slugfests are salted with powerful weapons and gadgets. Every weapon you pick up changes your style of play. it is a free 2D platform fighting game. Absolutely no Pay-to-Win. The event will be streamed on twitch.com/TAWTV. Teams are divided into a 2v2 single elimination matches in a bracket style; which means the team that wins best 2 out of 3 will move on to the next round. The Team or Single sign-up is NOW OPEN.

Practices may begin 1 October! Please do not start until then :)

Game Rules and Reminders:

•  Playing as Jaeyun is not permitted in this tournament.
•  Any use of game mods, except for stage background images, is not permitted in this tournament

Every 2v2 game must be created with the following Game Rules:

• Game Mode: Stock
• Teams: On
• Team Damage: On
• Lives: 3
• Match Time: 8:00
• Gadgets: Off
• Test Features: Off
• Map Set: 2v2

Every game must be created with the following Lobby Settings:

• Region: US-East (for NA tournaments), Europe (for EU tournaments)
• Friends: Off
• Clanmates: Off
• Room Number: On
• Room Type: Custom
• Max Players: 4 (2v2),
• Map Choosing: Tournament Striking
• Blind Pick: Off

General Rules and Reminders: (never change)

• If you cannot attend and have signed up please let MMD staff know, as soon as possible.
• If you are signed up as a group, and come time to play, one of your members has failed to show up, it is your responsibility to find a proper replacement, or your team will be disqualified.
• Games are to be recorded or streamed with a member of MMD or a TFO as referee
• Code of Ethics are to be reflected at all times when playing
• 1 Sign Up Per Member; For team sign-up - only 1 member of your team should sign up.
