Event Information

2022's TAW@WAR will be proudly hosted by the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Division in cooperation with Operations. The game will be structured as everyone has a chance. Please check out the tournament structure and sign-up following the button below.


Form

The Tournament Structure is:

    5 Player Teams

    Short Matches (First to 9 round wins)

    Knockout Brackets

    Final - Best of Three

You can sign up as a solo player or as a full team. There's an option on the sheet for solo players to request to be teamed up with certain other members.

 

The winning team will be awarded the TAW-Wide Tournament medal by our CiC MaverickSabre and claim the title of TAW Champions until the next tournament!

 



Game information

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) is a 5-man squad action gameplay that it pioneered when it was launched 19 years ago.
It features new maps, characters, weapons, and game modes, and delivers updated versions of the classic content.

Question. Since it's a game that is in TAW, wouldn't they be at a very big advantage and 99% would take the the title? Will they be allowed to participate or no?

Our members in the CS Division are from all ranks in CS, therefore it doesn't mean they will be winning whatever team goes up against them. Technically, anyone with background in FPS might have a small advantage, but I can guarantee there will not be a team that will just sweep up all the wins.

Which time is correct for the tournament PST or GMT? 14.00PST is 21.00GMT

Hmm, yeap I see the confusion. It's 20:00GMT for sure, so the 14:00PST might be a miscalculation and it's actually 13:00PST. I will verify and get this changed by DrPi ASAP :)
