I recall there is a Runescape division a few years back, but for some reason shut down

I am a devoted runescape player, but with how clans are it would be hard for many of us to justify going to a fresh clan on the hopes that things will work out and the amount of time it would take and investment. Not trying to be a downer or nothing, but its something to consider.

In a way it would have to be similar to what is being done in EVE. If this is being relaunched in TAW, there has to be a full commitment to see it through, however long it takes.

As Moore said, please fill out the Vanguard Interest Form if you are interested in seeing this game come to TAW and are interested in being part of the Spin Up Team.  This will let the Vanguard Staff know if the game is worth consideration.

just from a player base standpoint old school runescape would be the far better option since RS3 barely gets 20k players anymore while old school gets 100k minimum at all times.

Magnus the set up would be this we would Spin up RS3 and OSRS together and have each mode as a platoon setup so NA RS3 platoon NA OSRS platoon and the same for Europe. That way both modes are accepted. I am currently in a clan with 500 active in it on RS3 so its not impossible to get the members on the RS3 mode as well.

The game has the numbers, even RS3 has constant play. The issue as said is I can't see people joining a brand new clan and with the population mentality of Runescape it may be hard to get people to abide the rules and regulations of TAW. It would be a fight in addition to the clan issue.

Ass a former member of the rs3 spin up team I only applaud your promotion and I love that people are interested. I still play, and very much enjoy. But ya, its hard to get folk due to the massive amount of existing clans. And to run events that really grasp people is quite hard as not everybody has the same levels. Do let me know if I can help you in any way, and do have a chat with the former spin up leader. As we did went for a set up that was really good with a lot of details worked out.

I'll help with events and such for the group if it happens, I have had experience running events for a RS clan in the past. However to leave my RS clan this has to be a thing and not a fly by night. I think most established RS players would agree with me. But yeah I will throw my name in to help run this if it's a go, but as said this is a massive undertaking to get a clan going, it's not the click, done, that most games have. It's a mess and requires weekly upkeep to happen. So if this happens then contact me, but I have no plans myself to run it myself for instance.

I've signed the interest document. I have a set of plans ready for events, mandatories, I can have badge data ready in a week, everything we will need save me need more people interested.

Personally i loved the game and my family played together i enjoy runescape but when my Fathers Account was reset and trying to contact the company was a nightmare but i support a Runescape Division i just wont pay for membership im not talking down on it i fully support TAW as a matter of fact ill fill out an intrest form

Ionide hopefully if there is enough interest we will be getting a RS3 Spin-up team going, CruelRichard We want to spin them both up together but are currently working out the details on if that is possible. Currently if it was a one or the other type decision according to the Vanguard Interest Form there is more interest in RS3, Heavenly your father's account most likely wasn't reset. His original account carried over to RS3. OSRS is a port of RuneScape to make it like how it was in 2007 with some minor adjustments

nope one day he logged in and all of his stuff was gone and he was lvl 1 and he was upset with them he had several 99s and alot on his acct
