Hey, everyone! I wanted to talk about bringing GTA Online in TAW. I recently started playing it again. I had account on PS3 back in 2014-2016 (level 91) and now I started again on PC with another member from RS division. So I got amazed about the new (at least for me) stuff they brought in. Like MCs, Businesses, CREW(this one has been there since day 1 but still), Nightclubs and some other features. So You choose to be either an MC member or CEO or any other businesses. I myself haven't tried CEO part but I can see so many people as CEO in whichever server I'm in. My attention went straight to MC (childhood dream y'know) and we started an MC with the other member. And we thought IF this game comes to TAW we gotta expand the business. So We already grinded (8 hours yesterday for example) and right now we got Counterfeit Cash Factory and a Cocaine Lab(which has the highest income due to the internet) also we are planning to buy the third one already. So the features of being in an MC:

  • Patched members and ranks - Prospect, Enforcer, Road Captain, SGT. at ARMS, VP and finally President.  

  • The Clubhouse - Everyone can stock their motorbikes in the clubhouse. We have a table where we sit and decide what to do - Like taking missions as clubs and stuff. The lowest money we got from those missions has been 14K per each. Also when upgraded we get: Gunlocker, Shooting Range, Motorbike workshop

  • Riding - The Road Captain or President can lead the club wherever they go. When one of them sets the riding formation, We get into a formation and game limits everyone's top speed depending on the leader in that ride. Also, it repairs your vehicle, gives you hp AND armor as long as you are in the formation

  • Businesses - As I mentioned those two businesses we already got, We run errands to get more supplies - after those errands everyone gets money except the president. Those supplies help the businesses to make the products. After they are done, it goes to President's Nightclub (which we already got lol) and we take those products to buyers to gain extra money (for example, when there was 170K product in Counterfeit Cash Factory, we sold them for 277K because we chose the risky road and my VP (mourneedarko) got around 10% of that money).

  • Outfit - we can choose our MC outfits and put TAW logo behind our cuts. Which would be awesome, IKR?

  • And the best part rival MCs - if there are other MCs in our server they will try to steal from us which will lead to cool fight between at least two MCs.

I would say we could follow the form of some of the Department of Justice RP's that are out there but would be interested to see how it would work here in TAW but not sure if this will make it though due to some of the Not so family friendly nature of the content in game.

I haven't actually checked any of those RP servers or communities because I felt like the stuff that are there right now would be enough for TAW or if it comes we can vote to choose if we should use RP servers or not. And what do you exactly mean not so family friendly nature? You mean the community of GTA Online?

Would be interested to see this game in TAW. GTA Online's community have alot of salty players and grievers, that's true. But I managed to build up a friendlist  of almost 100 players I made friends with by helping them out with their businesses in freemode.

I am not sure how GTA would fit TAW as it does with other divisions, but I am surely interested. :)

There's so much content in GTA Online, used to play it non-stop between 2013-16. I've seen a lot of the stuff they've added since and a lot lends itself to RP. Red Dead Online doesn't seem to be doing so well, so there's still a large player base on GTA, especially PC. Online tends to only be as "Unfamily Friendly" as the people you play it with.

i think it would be a cool game to have in TAW i would not leave PB to help spin it up but i would defo come play with you guys

Our policies and ethics apply to the members in the community, not towards the games we play. If that were the case, half the games in TAW would break policy/ethics.

GTA has potential, strong staff needed but it could definitely have a place here.

I've played it a lot, and have played on and off recently as well. The game has a lot of potential. I know they have attempted to bring GTAV in a few times, but it just hasn't quite stuck through. The problem I see is with the salty players and grievers. You also have to be careful with the mods and exploits. Sometimes, they are unavoidable. If you had the right people playing and kept TAW CoE in mind, I think it could thrive. But if the group finds itself feeding into the toxicity of the players, then it's best just to have GTAV as a side game that you play with other members, but not carry the TAW name with it.

It would take alot to spin up we can have our own private server ect by using a model called fivem they would also host a 32 slot server at cost but mods for vehicles would be all server side not client so what ever was to be added you could do some neat stuff
