Age of Empires II: DE - Tier 1

AOE II DE: March Newsletter

The Age of Empires Division have been hard at work, going up to Tier 1 in Vanguard, and preparing for their imminent launch into Army. While preparing for that, they continue to run their own in-house tournaments and participate in community ran ones.

TAW Member Tournament Participation

Congratulations to MrMonty & EcoWarfare for winning the “Low ELO Co-Op Cup”, presented by “The Prent0s”, earlier this month. This tourney features an interesting format, where 2 players control 1 Civilization, and our boys represented TAW well, they absolutely crushed it! You can catch the replays of the grand finals on The Prent0s’ Twitch channel.

A second Congrats to Mr. Monty! For winning the Mid-Elo Empire Wars Tournament and representing TAW as a dominating presence in AOE II DE.

AOE II DE Division Tournaments

The Age of Warfare tournament series continues on the heels of a very exciting Art of Winter 1v1. Congrats again to StratRebel & PlusNomad for winning the Feudal Cup and Castle Cup respectively. In February, we held a 6 Player Regicide Rumble event.

Game settings were Regicide, Diplomacy & Free For All & Map was Pilgram. 12 players competed and the winner after 2 rounds of play was BioEngiBeer. Congrats and well played! The events were streamed on TAW.TV Twitch channel, thanks to Jondage, HeraklesDerThird for casting the event.

City of Heroes Division has advanced into Tier 3, and are now recruiting in full force, while also planning for events for their Division and the game community! One of these events include Costume Contest, ran by the Division, in which members of the game, in and out of TAW participate in hopes of winning some unique prizes!
