Here we are, right at the very end! During the TFO meeting later tonight we will end the 2020 Fundraiser, so have we played our part? Let's see:
I know we're still off our primary target, but I wanted to share a few additional details with you all:
1. We have absolutely smashed our 2019 Fundraiser total - and I mean smashed it. In fact, we have smashed 2017 too.
2. We are within mere hundreds of dollars of beating the 2018 Fundraiser total. Remember, we had a bigger member base back then, and it was by a HUGE margin the biggest fundraiser total in the last 5 years. We might just beat it!
3. We have a lot on our minds right now, health and finances being top of the list for a lot of people. Unsuprisingly we didn't factor a mass global pandemic into the planning for this campaign... but despite all that, look at that number!
So what next? Well, we're still going!! I know there are a few sneaky people that like to pop a last minute donation in, and there are also some of you that are probably thinking about it, not found the time yet to go and click that button. But you still have time! The Fundraiser will end at the end of the TFO meeting tonight, when Kareljee will give a rough estimate on the final total. This will be followed up by a blog post from Treasury next week once all of the beans have been counted.
