Before the meeting has concluded the Election Chairman will call for the voting to open and announce that members have 48 hours to vote.

  1. The Election Chairman will send a TAW wide email with the link to the page for members to record their vote once the poll is open.
  2. 24 hours into voting a second TAW wide email should be sent with a reminder that voting is closing in 24 hours.

Voting results should only be accessible to the Election Chairman and the Election Officers. At the close of voting the Election Officers and Election Chairman will meet and agree on the results. The Election Chairman will package a screenshot of the result and send it to the designated person for record retention. This designated person is decided by the previous CIC before the election process starts. In the case the previous CIC is incapacitated, this will default to a unanimous decision by members of Army Command and Operation Command. Raw voting results should be deleted from the database and the screenshots stored securely on the primary server.

In the event that a tie develops and there is not a clear winner, a new vote must take place with only the tied candidates. Any new vote should immediately follow the close of voting after a TAW wide announcement by the Election Chairman and be open for 48 hours. Following the conclusion of voting the poll will be removed.
