Player smurfing as other players (Include TAW ones)

Hi,

Yesterday, On Jesus Server, we see 3 players playing as "Rimanijo" at the same time (I sure none of them was the real one) and a other smurf playing as TAW Slimer (A fake one). Jesus Server Admin Blue Wolf see this and other thinks.

A form to see this fake people is activating PB on TAW ETQW servers (net_serverPunkbusterEnabled = 1), this will enable Alias tracking commands "pb_plist" and "pb_alist" for see the real account name (not only the TAG+Account).

Other form is creating a standar rights group for TAW member, so we can see if a player its smurfing as TAW one on TAW Servers.

Why default TAW members cannot have rights  (Like ingame vote as example) ?

Well, actually that seems like faking or trolling instead of smurfing. Smurfing is making a new account to play with low ranked players on ranked matchmaking systems; that is an exploit to take advantage of inexperienced players for self enjoyment. What you detected is most likely using clan name system to fool themselves. Eg; Your clan tag is TAW|, your nickname is MAV; so you appear as TAW|MAV in the game. If I create a clan named TAW|M and create an online account as AV, I also appear as TAW|MAV; simple.

Yes, such option might be added if possible. Anyone?

You should bring this up with your chain of command.
