CC Scrim

The CC leadership fielded a team that valiantly took on the Overwatch Division in a scrim the weekend just past.  

In the build up to this scrim, the CC team got together and had a few training sessions enabling us to become familiar with the game and settled into characters that worked for each of us.  I believe even in that short time we played together we did show signs of improvement and a better understanding of how to work together.

That all said though, in what was an epic battle we did get pretty smashed by the organization and power of the Overwatch team who I can only congratulate on their win.  It was well deserved and a great job. Well done guys. I just hope you all enjoyed this event as much as I did.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Rowanrainsong for helping organize this event as well as TrixCold and Snxhardx who put a lot of time to demonstrate and talk through all the different characters and abilities.  Additionally in the build up to this scrim, Snxharzard also kindly acted as a FS and helped the CC team with training sessions. Much appreciated mate.

A good game, and for those that haven't watched it back, the stream was awesome with Patamon and Cayne doing a great job of the commentary.

Watched the stream after the event and must say it was some awesome casting and production! It also revealed to me that it was closer than I experienced in game, some great plays as well that I missed out on while focusing on our own play. With some slightly different calling on the pushes from me we might have broken a few points, anyhow great games! Thanks everyone for being part of it, I certainly enjoyed it!

It  was a good event to watch i was rooting for OW all the way lol but i did see the old guys "CC" do some good moves.

Good games and had a lot of fun. Next time will not be so easy as we will hire ringers to take our place. lol

Would also like to thank the OW team for providing games for us in CC to play with. Without their loaner accounts this would not have happened.
