PUBG Solo Tournament

WE ARE BACK!

Time for another TAW wide PUBG tournament, who is excited!?

Tournament Info

As you can see on the glorious poster above we are ending August with a bang! The 31st of August we
will gather at 8 PM CEST / 2 PM EST and compete over the title of TAWs best PUBG 1v1 player! You don't want to miss this! 

You don't own PUBG, no worries! I will be covering all the action from my comfortable chair on TAWTV!

Rules

• There will be three matches played, each starting after the previous finish. 


• These three matches will be played on Sanhok. 


• The points will be counted at the end of each match and then the player with the highest number of points at the end of the three matches will be the winner of the tournament.


• Any disconnections before the start of the match will be brought back in via restart of set match. After the match started it will carry on and will not be restarted. 


• If a dispute appears during the tournament it should be brought to the PUBG staff and in private to not disturb the other players of the tournament.


• All participating members keep the TAW Code of Ethics in mind at all times while participating.

Should you have any questions about the event, please direct your inquiries to one of those members. 

Keep in mind to download any updates before the tournament starts, so delays will be a minimum.

PUBG Tournament Format

Common Match Settings:

• Server region: NA/EU

• Team: 1 man teams

• Game mode: First Person (FPP)
  
  

1. No show

   
   

   1. If a participant cannot play at the scheduled start time, we will remove the team from participating in the tournament.




2. Map Pick

   
   

   1. All games will be played on the Sanhok map. Teams do not pick or ban maps.




3. Tiebreaker

   
   

   1. In case of a tie in the results the first tiebreaker will be average placement of the teams during the latest round.

   
   

   2. In case they still tie the second tiebreaker will be amount of kills.

   
   

   3. If still tied the winner will be put up to a 1v1 match in War mode with all weapons allowed.




4. Results

   
   

   1. All results will be input by PUBG Staff. If anything is unclear, participants should have screenshots available to verify the result and file a protest.  You can do that by talking to the PUBG staff.




5. Ranking points

   
   

   1. Each kill is worth 15 points. Placement points are visible in the table below:

The way I have been playing, you could pick up rocks, throw them randomly in the air, and I would die.

And yet, somehow I plan on winning this thing. Not sure how that is going to work.

I have been down a few times playing. Have gotten a few games in with Dreamus lately. But he keeps dying before me, just like he is going to do in this tournament.

Hes not playing in the tournament, hes casting it lol :( Poor Dreamus wanted to shoot him aswell, I sopose i could just do it in game and use lag as an excuse :) I hope he doesnt see this

3rd huh? Pretty fancy ranking seeing that I was not there gunning for you.

Might want to consider changing up point system? I doubt we have 100 players joining and 15 points is negligable to a Top 5. We might end up seeing a lot of camping and not a lot of action if we dont reward kills.

Good point as we have announce this ruleset and it has been known for some time now we will stick with it and then evaluate it for the next tournament
