The Star Wars: The Old Repubic Division presents "Turmoil on Tatooine - The Battle for Outlaw's Den"

[SW] Division is excited to announce that we will be hosting a World PvP event and the entire Star Forge server community is invited. The event is an open-world PvP Battle of Empire vs Republic to kill the “commander” of the opposing team. The battle will be held on May 30th, 2020 from 3PM - 5PM Server Time and everyone is invited to participate, regardless of guild or allegiance. There will also be an in-game prize for the winning team! With Double XP currently going on through June 14th, now is a great time to level a new character or start playing for the first time!

Event Details:

The Basics: Before the start of the event two teams will be formed, one for the Republic side and one for the Empire side. Teams will have both an attackers and defenders phase for each round, similar to Voidstar, with the goal being to kill or defend your team’s commander. To help this event start as smoothly as possible please arrive about 15min early so we can get teams organized before the start time. We will all be there to have a good time and meet new people, however any form of toxicity will be tolerated. Please join us in our Discord channel to ask questions or chat with other players at https://discord.gg/49heftz and keep up with the latest updates for the event.  We will have special Voice channels in discord for each faction but voice comms are not required.

Round information

• Kill the commander - One faction attacks, the other defends 

• 15 min time cap - meet or beat the clock for second attacker

• Best of 3 rounds 

  • 1 Round = attack/defend for each for each side 

• 3 minute reset time between rounds

• Tie breaker if all 3 rounds are a draw: Last man standing, no respawn.

• 20 million Credits will be split equally amongst the winning team.

• Commanders will not be a healer or stealth class

Rules

• Commanders will be predetermined TAW members

• Commanders will be marked by specific armor look and charm

• Defensive Team will start inside the Cartel Market Building 

• Offensive team will start outside the Den entrance at the faction flags

• Players will not be allowed to exit the Den once a round commences

  • After a death, players will spawn at their factions closest respawn point and will be able to run back into the fight

FAQ:

• I don't have a lvl 75 character, can I still join?  All levels are welcome but you have to be able to get to the Outlaw's Den on Tatooine.

• Is this for the Republic or Empire?  Both factions are welcome.

• Is there a max number of players who can participate? No. TAW will create additional Ops groups as needed based on the number of players.

Sounds awesome, Im currently downloading the game onto my new PC and I am going to try and level to an appropriate level so I can kill Destroyer, my vengeance will be swift and enjoyable ;)
