A while ago i made an alt account "ScoutsOnly" where I can only produce the scout-line and siege units (so long as siege isn’t the main part of my army i.e.: mass scorps).

It’s fun and good for practicing mechanics (since you don't really use much decision making since you can't exactly tech switch so more time to focus on mechanics haha.)

Even if you don't make an alt account for it i definitely recommend trying out something fun like this every now and again helps keeps things fresh and can work surprisingly well.

The downside to using a new account is though it takes awhile to get its elo up and it feels bad basically smurfing until then even though that is not the intention of the account so keep that in mind.
